Excellent all round resort. The only downside is the skiing areas are reached by bus (free with your liftpass) other than that the Kaprun/Zell am See (Europa Sport region)is a great place for your skiing holiday. I spent a week skiing in the region with a constant smile on my face. Very pretty place with breath taking views and a friendly atmosphere. The snow conditions were very good and there is talk of linking this area with nearby Saalbach which will make this area a must ski place ! I stayed at "Haus Patricia" a B&B well located in Kaprun, family run cosy, clean and a very friendly place. Steve & Patricia who run this place even do airport pickups, very happy I stopped there, I can't recommend it highly enough. Get in there while you still can because when others discover this accommodation it will get booked up fast! Excellent choice for most skiers and snow boarders.
